Free Beta surface

The initial public docs describe the stable Free Beta path only. A feature appearing in source code or internal planning does not make it part of the public product surface.

  • Install posture (Developer ID direct-download primary when promoted), first launch, and Accessibility / clipboard-only fallback
  • Phrase and folder library management (Basic / Advanced)
  • Main-window Command Palette (⌘⇧P) and Go to Anything (⌘P)
  • Floating palette search, delivery shortcuts, and paste fallbacks
  • Templates, built-ins, shared variables, and the local template sandbox
  • Phrase and folder hotkey / autotext triggers, collision chooser, and pause controls
  • Quick Add via macOS Services
  • .phrasepilot import and personal Free/Pro export
  • Local recovery, rolling backups, uninstall/data guidance
  • Personal Insights (always local) and optional Product Analytics (opt-in, fail-closed)
  • Free Color Theme choices and optional Kit Inspect flourish
  • Occasional dismissible Support Astramar reminder (every 10 Free launches; never unlocks features)
  • Customer-safe troubleshooting, privacy summary, and release-status boundaries

Optional appearance (not required for Free Beta)

Section titled “Optional appearance (not required for Free Beta)”
  • Premium Skins (Pro in Release; default off) — polished and overlay skins with Motion / Overlay controls
  • Website Marketplace catalog preview (marketplace/ and marketplace/skins/) — first-party packs, skins, and kits listed as coming soon; no checkout and not an in-app store
  • production Workflow Builder and cloud automation
  • development-gated Packs presented as generally available
  • Team general availability / Team implementation internals
  • Terminal Phrases, Astramar TUI host/CLI, and managed script execution internals
  • developer CLI / API reference
  • live website download without verified release-record promotion
  • hidden, DEBUG-only, parked, or unshipped functionality
  • unsupported performance, adoption, reliability, or customer-count claims

Scheduled triggers, clipboard transforms, and similar capabilities may exist as opt-in or experimental controls; they are not marketed as required Free Beta core until their release gates clear.
